Why I refuse Liquid BBL’s:

A liquid Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is a cosmetic procedure aimed at enhancing the size and shape of the buttocks through the injection of substances such as dermal fillers. Often, liquid BBL can lead to significant risks and complications.

Here are several reasons why opting for a liquid BBL might not be advisable:

-Health Complications: There is a risk that the injected material could enter blood vessels, leading to embolisms, which can be life-threatening. The reason why this is a particular risk with the liquid BBL is because of the volume required to achieve the desired results.

-Migration of Fillers: Unlike fat transfer, fillers can migrate from the injection site to other areas, causing asymmetry or deformities especially over a few years.

-Infection: Any procedure involving injections carries a risk of infection. However with the liquid BBL due to the large volume of filler required it is prone to infection. This can lead to severe complications requiring further medical treatment.

-Permanent Damage: Some fillers are not designed to be used in large volumes like the buttocks. Over time, this can lead to permanent tissue damage or scarring. Also, if complications arise.

-Aesthetic Outcomes: The results from liquid BBLs can be unpredictable. Fillers might not provide the natural look and feel that fat transfer can achieve.

If you really want to enhance the size of your buttocks, a traditional BBL, which involves fat transfer, is often preferred because it uses the patient's own fat, reducing the risk of adverse reactions. It tends to offer more natural-looking results. Or just go to the gym, which has to be my favourite recommendation when it comes to the bottom.
